Many people use PayPal as a way to accept payment or donations for something. I was also one of those people, until June of 2011 when PayPal decided to freeze my account for no apparent reason.
I was using PayPal to accept payments on my website, and have made a good amount of money through PayPal. Until one day, PayPal decided they didn’t like me making money and froze my account. They asked for proof of business documents, proof that I was who I said I was, and some other things. I obliged and gave them all this information, but was told that they would still have my account limited. I now have $1,700 frozen in my PayPal account.

Fast forward to October of 2011, and it gets even worse. I sold a couple of items on eBay that totaled up equaled roughly $1,000. Those of you who have ever used eBay know that you must use PayPal to accept payments. Now, I don’t have a PayPal account to use since its frozen, so I decided to use my moms. Apparently PayPal didn’t like this idea at all and decided to freeze her account based on association with me! So now, I have another $1,000 frozen in my moms PayPal account!
I also have two other PayPal accounts, business ones. Each of those have $300 frozen in them. So, all in all, PayPal owes me around $3,500!
And this is exactly why PayPal is not your ‘Pal’!
